Meet the Hosts

InterD3 is coordinated by the following three host organizations and is pleased to be partnering with the Saskatchewan members of Patients for Patient Safety Canada.

 

 

The Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists is the self-governing body for the profession of pharmacy in the province. Under authority of The Pharmacy Act, 1996, the College regulate pharmacists, pharmacies and drugs.

The College registers as pharmacists only those persons who meet the education and training qualifications specified under the Act. Once admitted, pharmacists may be licensed to provide direct patient care upon meeting standards competency and other requirements.

  The SRNA Vision is: Registered Nurses as partners in an informed, healthy society. The SRNA Mission is: Competent, caring, knowledge-based nursing for the people of Saskatchewan. The SRNA sees a number of ends to guide its activities: vision and mission; competent, ethical practice of nursing; professional self-regulation for RNs and RN(NP)s; practice environments conducive to safety and quality; primary health care; and leadership and professional presence.
 
  The College of Physicians and Surgeons is a statutory, self-regulating body established by legislation of the Government of Saskatchewan and charged with the responsibility of: licencing properly qualified medical practitioners; developing and ensuring the standards of practice in all fields of medicine; and investigating and disciplining all doctors whose standards of medical care, ethical or professional conduct are questioned.
